We use superior single grain. 100% malted barley. We extend our fermentation to 92 hours in a Coffey-style still. We mature in infrared and fire toasted ex bourbon barrels. The result is a whisky that’s boldly sweet, remarkably light and highly mixable.

Matured in ex-bourbon barrels, Spearhead is finished in a unique combination of infrared toasted and fire toasted virgin American oak barrels. We work closely with a cooperage in Kentucky to produce toast levels that are just right – the result is a sweeter, lighter, more mixable whisky.
