This year, Glen Scotia 15 Year Old impressed with a brilliant 91.5/100 with Murray noting the nose in particular saying “A serious buzz of lively working tannin in this. All dark sugars and spice, it suggests a malt which means business.” Glen Scotia Double Cask received a high score of 85.5/100. These scores follow upon Loch Lomond Group’s impressive scoring in 2016 when Glen Scotia Distillery Edition No1 received 94/100, putting it in the “Whisky Bible Liquid Gold” category.
